e-Memoir suite of webinars

We have developed a series of suites of webinars on key topics of interest to the FE and Skills sector. These are the result of your feedback and suggestions for future webinars, and we are happy to add to each suite or repeat webinars in response to your requests.

For non-subscribers, each webinar in a suite can be purchased separately, or a whole suite can be purchased at a discounted price. Please see details below of the suites currently on offer.

If you have missed or cannot attend a live webinar then we can provide you with a recording and accompanying slides, again either individually or as part of the suite.

Barely a week goes by without a report commenting on behavioural challenges or increased levels of anxiety, depression and anger in students.  Similarly, teachers and other educators have their own resilience and ability to adapt and cope, tested on a daily basis.

These webinars are aimed at exploring practical strategies to build confidence, self belief and resilience in students.  By doing this, it is hoped delegates will also learn useful tips to support their own resilience and mental health.

The presenter, Bob Craig, will draw on best practice from around the sector, his own diverse experiences as a teacher, Advanced Practitioner, coach, educational trainer and consultant and CBT therapist, and he’ll include a small sprinkling of up to date theory.

Titles already delivered in this series have included:

  • Impactful openings to lessons, summaries and reviews of learning

  • Cultivating curiosity and nurturing growth mindsets

  • Verbal feedback, questioning and differentiation

  • Promoting self-assessment, peer assessment and out of class learning

  • Responding effectively to inappropriate behaviour

  • Facilitating constructive and dynamic group work

  • Assessment in apprenticeships: exploring the relationship between continuous and end-point assessment
